Clarendon Hall care home raises £1,000 to support Alzheimer’s SocietyResidents, families and colleagues at Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, came together to host a special coffee afternoon in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society, raising more than £1,000 to help people living with dementia.

The event brought together members of the local community for an afternoon of conversation, music and home-baked treats. Guests enjoyed live performances from singer George and the Clarendon Hall choir, who created a lively, feel-good atmosphere throughout the home.

Alongside coffee and cake, guests took part in fundraising activities including a raffle and a “name the card” competition for a luxury hamper.

Senior Wellbeing Coordinator Hayley Sandison said:
“We’re so thankful to everyone who joined us and donated so generously. The Alzheimer’s Society does such important work supporting people affected by dementia, and we’re delighted that our Clarendon Hall community could contribute to that.”
