HC-One is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in ‘The Care Employer of the Year Award’ category by the judging panel at the North East Region of the Great British Care Awards 2022.
The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and celebrate the excellence on individuals across the care sector. The awards pay tribute to those who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work. The awards will be presented across 23 different award categories, which represent all areas of the social care sector including older people, specialist services, residential and home care.
HC-One has been named as a finalist in ‘The Care Employer of the Year Award’ category where the award will be presented to acknowledge and celebrate an employer who shows commitment to care and delivering an excellent service. HC-One have been shortlisted as a finalist in this category due to demonstrating acumen and flair whilst sustaining a track record of delivering high quality care and managing improvement.
Across the UK in HC-One’s c.300 care homes, Colleagues create a home from home environment, Residents are treated with dignity and respect, considering their preferences, like and dislikes, creating a sense of belonging and providing them with a purpose. Colleagues listen to Residents and support their hopes and dreams.

HC-One has twenty finalists in total at the North East Region of the Great British Care Awards across a variety of different award categories. The North East Region of the Great British Care Awards 2022 ceremony will take place on Thursday 10th November 2022 at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park in Newcastle, when the winners will be announced.
