HC-One is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Health Care Employer of the Year Award’ category by the judging panel at The Northern Echo Health and Care Awards 2022 in partnership with County Durham Care Partnership.
The Northern Echo Health and Care Awards in conjunction with County Durham Care Partnership are running for the second consecutive year, and are the culmination of a search to find the very best examples of excellence across the North East and North Yorkshire regions within the health and care sectors. The awards celebrate and recognise those who have gone the extra mile, shining a spotlight on those who richly deserve credit who have risen to the challenges presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic, overcoming adversity, showing strength, bravery, kindness, compassion and tenacity to serve their local communities, continuing to put others first.
HC-One has been named as a finalist in the ‘Health Care Employer of the Year Award’ category. The award will be presented to the health care employer who has demonstrated a strong commitment to their Colleagues without diminishing the care they provide to their service users. The winner of the award will demonstrate a strong and loyal workforce team, who feel valued and recognised for the contributions they have made and continue to make in the health and care sector.
Nicola Bales, Managing Director at HC-One for the North East and North Yorkshire regions, commented:
“I am extremely proud that HC-One Colleagues have been recognised as finalists at the prestigious, Northern Echo Health and Care Awards 2022. The pandemic has presented many challenges for our care homes but it has also highlighted our amazing Colleagues who are truly our heroes.
