HC-One launches new dementia support and advice for families

At HC-One, we're dedicated to understanding more about the people living in our homes – getting to know them as individuals, and finding out what really matters to them. This is especially true when it comes to supporting families facing a diagnosis of dementia.
 
As part of our work supporting families with dementia, our dementia care team have created new dementia support resources on our website, and across our family of care homes.
 
We understand that navigating the complexities of dementia can be overwhelming. That's why our team has developed a guide that offers reassurance and practical advice every step of the way. Whether you're just beginning to explore dementia care options or you've already startedyour dementia care journey, our dementia support web page is here to help you. Designed specifically with families and friends in mind, our advice and support has been created in collaboration with renowned dementia experts, such as HC-One’s Director of Dementia, Professor Graham Stokes and Director of Quality, Anna Selby. As part of this support, we are also producing informative booklets that will be readily available in our homes.

Our aim is simple: to provide families with the support they need to navigate their dementia care journey with confidence and compassion. From understanding the early symptoms of dementia, to knowing the support available, our support and advice webpage is a comprehensive resource tailored to your needs.
