HC-One shortlisted as a finalist at the HealthInvestor Awards 2022 for Residential Care Provider ofHC-One is delighted to have been named as a finalist in the Residential Care Provider of the Year (large group) category at the HealthInvestor Awards 2022. The award for this category recognises excellence amongst elderly residential care providers.

With a high volume of entries received every year, the annual HealthInvestor Awards are one of the most sought after and well-respected awards recognising excellence and outstanding achievements in the care sector. 

During 2021, HC-One proudly introduced and developed a number of innovations across its care homes to further enhance the high-quality kind care it provides to Residents. 
The innovations support HC-One’s mission to be the first-choice care provider for Residents and Colleagues in each of the communities it serves; promotes celebrating excellence in its homes and working innovatively with its partners to achieve the best outcomes for Residents. 

The innovations have included investing £54.5 million in its refurbishment programme, with over 200 homes benefiting from the investment; leading the way in COVID-19 testing pilots; actively participating in the VIVALDI project; promoting the flu fighter and COVID-19 vaccination campaigns across HC-One; investing over £17 million in a new sector-leading pay and reward offer for care Colleagues in recognition of their skills and dedication; a sector-leading learning and development programme to enhance Colleague’s skills and to help them progress in their careers; a number of award winning Colleagues and care homes every year shortlisted as finalists and winners of national and local awards in recognition of their hard work; and launching a ‘caring with kindness this winter’ campaign to assist with the stretch on health and social care services and increased demand for care over the winter. 

The prestigious and well-attended HealthInvestor Awards 2022 celebrate and promote excellence, recognising the innovation and achievements of those in the independent health and social care sector. The HealthInvestor Awards ceremony attracts more than 1,200 attendees every year and will take place on Wednesday 8th June 2022 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London when the winners of the awards will be announced.
