Residents and Colleagues at
Lothian House, residential and residential dementia care home in Spennymoor have had lots to celebrate over the past week.
Brenda one of the lovely Residents celebrated her 90th birthday on the 6th of April. A fantastic singer came along to perform and there was a delicious buffet for everyone to enjoy.
It was a lovely day, and Brenda, remarked, “Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes it has been a lovely day with all of my friends and family.”
Jill Carr the Home Manager paid a visit but not for work, but as a newlywed!
Jill popped in to see her Auntie Cath who resides at the 47-bed care home and show off her beautiful wedding dress.
Both Residents and Colleagues were over the moon to see her wedding dress and speak with the happy couple!
Hollie Rhodes, Care Manager, said, “Happy Birthday Brenda! We always have a good party with lots of singing and dancing. It was lovely for all of our Residents to see Jill in her wedding dress.”
