Lothian House
In the heart of Spennymoor in County Durham, Lothian House is a welcoming, purpose-built home with 47 beds which offers residential and residential dementia care.
Living with us
At Lothian House, the large, enclosed garden with patio, which is cared for by some of the Residents, is a popular place to enjoy time in the company of friends and family. A lovely home, it offers Residents the choice of four sitting rooms and two dining areas in which to relax, dine and socialise. The bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.
The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is carefully designed to support mind, body and soul.
Your personal care plan
Lothian House’s Home Manager makes sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.
