About our home

Located in the attractive area of Yarm in Stockton on Tees, at the heart of the Tees Valley, Highfield is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 38 beds offering residential and residential dementia care.

Residents have the choice of comfortable lounges and dining areas, so there is plenty of choice of places to socialise and dine at Highfield. The café and hairdressing salon are popular, and the sunny conservatory is a great spot to relax in the afternoon. A pretty courtyard garden looked after by some of the Residents is the perfect setting to take family and friends for a cup of tea and a catch up. The bright, comfortable bedrooms are all easily accessible by wheelchair, with some looking out onto the garden spaces.

The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is carefully designed to support mind, body and soul.
