
Residents and staff at Meadowlands Care Home in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff, came together on Friday to celebrate Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day with a day full of laughter, creativity and sweet treats.
The home was filled with smiles as residents and team members embraced the spirit of the national fundraising event by dressing up and taking part in a variety of themed activities. Residents enjoyed colouring in Red Nose Day themed pictures, decorating special Red Nose Day biscuits and tucking into delicious cupcakes inspired by the occasion.
The celebrations created a lively and joyful atmosphere throughout the home, bringing residents and staff together to share in the fun while marking the much-loved charity event.

“We had a fantastic time celebrating Red Nose Day with our residents. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, dressing up and enjoying the activities together. Days like this bring so much joy to the home and create lovely memories for our residents. A big thank you to our team for organising such a brilliant day.”
Red Nose Day, organised by Comic Relief, raises money to support people facing poverty and hardship in the UK and around the world.
The team at Meadowlands were delighted to take part in the celebrations and ensure residents could join in with the nationwide event.
