Celebrating our kind care home teams this Autumn
At HC-One, our greatest strength lies in the kindness, teamwork and dedication of our care colleagues. Across our family of care homes, teams have been recognising and celebrating one another’s achievements, from long service awards and milestone birthdays to employee awards and heartfelt farewells.
Here are just a few recent highlights from across our care homes this Autumn:
Sedgley Court care home in Dudley
Residents and colleagues came together to celebrate their recent Employees of the Month: Carer Debra and Kitchen Assistant Maria.
Both were nominated for their positivity, reliability and commitment to making life brighter for residents every day. Congratulations to Debra and Maria on this well-deserved recognition.
Lydgate Lodge care home in Batley
The team at Lydgate Lodge sent warm wishes to Senior Carer Mandy, who has gone on maternity leave to welcome her new arrival.
Everyone at the home shared their excitement for Mandy’s growing family and looks forward to meeting the newest member of the Lydgate Lodge family soon.
Redmill care home in East Whitburn
At Redmill, Care Assistant Larry was recognised as recent Employee of the Month, while Maureen was presented with a Kindness in Care Award, nominated by one of the residents.
Their team fed back that both Larry and Maureen have shown exceptional compassion and dedication, going above and beyond in everything they do.
Highgate care home in Uddingston
It has been a month of double celebrations at Highgate. The team marked Housekeeper Gwen Gilfillan’s 60th birthday with warm wishes and plenty of cheer, thanking her for the positivity and energy she brings to the home every day.
They also celebrated team member Amanda’s remarkable ten-year anniversary at Highgate. Amanda’s decade of dedication and compassion has made a lasting difference to residents and colleagues alike.
Across HC-One, moments like these remind us what sets HC-One apart: people who care deeply, support one another, and take pride in making every day a little brighter for those around them by caring with kindness.
